about me
Based in Los Angeles, I specialize in mixing indie, alt r&b, and electronic music. There are songs that sound right, and there are songs that feel right. I want to create an experience for your listeners. My goal is to imbue your tracks with that special something. Immerse it into a world. A moment.Chasing after that desire is my art. And I want to do it with you. To amplify your vision. To work with you until you have something that feels authentic and captures that feeling.

FAQ
What's the process for mixing?
1. After you send me the stems and rough mix, I will confirm that I received them. Please also tell me a reference track and some adjectives to describe the sound you want. My email is amyling.wav@gmail.com, or you can use the contact form.
2. My current delivery time for the first iteration is usually about 1 week for mixing a song, and less than that for mastering and vocal cleanup. I'll send you a link to the mixdown online using a platform called Mixup. It'll allow you to make comments at specific times and compare versions.
3. I'll let you know when the revised mix is up. When you're happy with the mix, I'll send you the WAV file and/or master it if you choose to pay extra for mastering. What's the process for mastering?
Similar to mixing, except it's a master :) After you approve it, I'll send you the master as a 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV file and a 24-bit, 48 kHz WAV file. It'll be ready for digital distribution and radio play. 48 kHz is the standard for video/film/tv. You can also specify other bit depth and sample rate settings. What do you accept for payment?
